Chargers Make the Final

The Chargers played a tough game against The Team thus earning them a spot in the finals with a 2-1 victory.  It was a back and forth game with good goaltending.  The final will take place tomorrow with the winner playing a game against the teachers on Wednesday.

Suddendeath Overtime

The Bulldogs beat the Penguins 5-4 in OT to advance to the finals.  They will play the winner between the Chargers and The Team which is set to take place on Monday.

Bulldogs Blow Past The Team

The Bulldogs win in a 13-1 game of floor hockey today.  The game started off really well as was 1-1 five minutes into the game.  The Bulldogs then opened it up and scored 12 in a row.  Passing, checking, good goal tending and pure hustle were the factors that made the difference.

Huge Loss for the Angels

The Angels lost in Intramurals 15-3 against the Chargers.  This is the third game that the Angels lost which was a blowout.  They better win the next game before the end of the season or they may miss the playoffs.

Second Blowout Game in a Row

The Bulldogs gave the Penguins a pounding today in a 16-3 victory that puts the Bulldogs record at 2-0-0 and the Penguins at 0-2-0.  There were a few players on the Bulldogs that had multiple hat-tricks.

Blowout Game at Hand

In what seemed to be a long game, The Team gave The Angels more then they could handle.  The game was a complete blowout as The Team gave the Angels a 15-1 loss.

University of Alberta

Congratulations to all the Centennial athletes who participated in the Journal Games.  The big event was held the afternoon/evening of Tuesday February 16th at the University of Alberta.  The division 2 boys finished in an outstanding 2nd place amoung thousands of students their age participating.  The Centennial girls finished 7th.  More information coming soon regarding division 2 finals.

Second Game Very Exciting

The second game of the floor hockey tournament was an exciting game to watch.  Both teams were in full throttle as they didn't take a minute off.  It looked as though the Penguins were going to take the match with an early 2-0 lead, but the Chargers came back and scored 3 unanswered goals.  It was a back and forth game with the Chargers taking the game 7-5 and going 1-0-0 in the season.

First Game

The Bulldogs open up the tournament with a 10-3 victory over the Angels.  Each team played short-handed as team members were away at another sporting event.
